10/10 stars-if there were more stars to give-I would!!! When I first found out about my condition and the need for surgery, I was scared! I knew that I wanted to get several options so I started my journey! I was on my eighth (I know that’s a lot but when it comes to your spine, you have to get it right) doctor and both my husband and I went to our first visit with Dr. Brad Prybis. From the second you walk into the Atlanta office-you know you’re going to be in good hands!

The office building is very clean and sleek! There is a door man that is very friendly and there if you have any questions. The front desk staff (especially Cleveland) are all welcoming, knowledgeable and take the time to get to know you on a personal level as well! You get the feeling that you aren’t just a number, but someone they want to take care of!!

The X-ray tech, Chalese, makes you feel comfortable and takes her time so that it’s done right the first time!

Shanel, Dr Prybis’ assistant is very very smart!! You can tell that she’s been in this industry for long enough to be able to answer all your questions and concerns-at least that’s the feeling I get!! She listens attentively to your history and writes everything down so you don’t feel like you have to repeat the entire story over and over again (this happens all too many times) Lastly, and certainly not least, the doc himself comes in and reiterates that Shanel has informed him of all the important information. He uses models and the X-ray/MRI to show you details of your diagnosis/condition. He allows ample time for as many questions as you want and never made me feel like my questions weren’t valid!

His bedside manner is very calm, smart and patient. He makes what he’s saying very easy to understand and takes the time to explain your condition as it relates to your lifestyle-meaning he uses examples of everyday life and tries to help you understand what’s happening to your body and what your condition means for the future!

My surgery was two weeks ago and it was the best decision I’ve made to use Dr. Prybis and his staff to treat my condition! Everything that he told me would happen after surgery-happened! He was very good at letting me know what to expect and was also very easy to get a hold of after surgery for any questions or concerns that I had!! My surgery was seamless and the staff over at Northside Hospital were equally amazing- everyone had the nicest things to say about Dr. Prybis. I believe this is important because you want a surgeon that is talented, of course; but also important to me that he treats his support staff with respect. I was reassured that without a doubt he was well liked!

My husband has already transferred his care over to Dr. Prybis and I cannot wait to share this practice with everyone I encounter!!

Two years I dealt with severe hip and leg pain. The MRI showed that I had a Herniated Disc lying on my Sciatic Nerve. I went to Physical Therapy for one year with only a small amount of relief. However, Dr. Brad G. Prybis became my Angel in disguise! He determined that I needed to have a Lumbar Fusion along with Dr. Philip Ploska (Previous Surgeon for back issues). Dr. Prybis performed my surgery by going through my side instead of my back. Yes, I was definitely scared!!! Today, February 9th, 2024 is the 30 day mark from my surgery. I am doing better than better. Yes, I have a little pain from the surgery but it does not compare to the excruciating pain before surgery. As Dr. Prybis stated, “the pain will get better as the days go by”, and it’s true!! If I could give Dr. Prybis 100 stars, I would do so. He explained everything to me before my surgery as well as what to expect after surgery. EVERYTHING that he said is exactly what took place. So, if anyone is suffering from back pain, I highly recommend Dr. Brad Prybis. There’s not one negative thing that I can say about this outstanding surgeon, Dr. Prybis. I must also say that Dr. Philip Ploska is an amazing back surgeon who performed my first surgery and I was very pleased. Kudos to Dr. Brad Prybis and the entire staff of Regenerative Orthopedic Institute. I hope my positive experience will help someone make up their mind to get help with your pain and get back to living a normal life.
